Director Product Management led twelve-person global PM team with P&L ownership for all 50,000+ products. Established strategic product plan, new launch process, improved TTM and annual product launches year over year by 500%.

 

Promoted to spearhead six-person cross-functional global commercial growth initiative – including overseeing new 3rd party international suppliers, distribution, procurement, and inventory management. Created 17 new strategic global partners to enlarge product line and address newly targeted market segments which laid the foundation to double company sales within 3 years.​

​2009 - 2016

 

Empowered Product Management team to transition company from custom-engineered to market-driven. Researched, designed and led strategic long-range plans, internal process improvements, and innovative new product introductions for $400M global division across U.S., Europe, and Asia. Directed global product managers on market analysis, business intelligence, CRM, VOC, focus groups and unique value propositions to improve product development ROI. Worked within matrixed organization with sales, R&D, supply chain, EHS, Legal.  Evangelized strategic product roadmaps, MGAP/MGPP, with global executive team. Promoted to include global P&L responsibilities for additional $35M sub-segment of the total business.

Managed major product line and was promoted to create and grow “critical-to-organization” new product segment. Launched three new products within matrix organization. Developed marketing strategy and product specifications, directed product engineering, sales execution, and life-cycle management of new sensor line within $150M division.

 

SAPPI FINE PAPER: Management Consultant

​2002 - 2003

 

Improved sales, profit and working capital.  Raised annual revenue by $52M through improved system fill rates. Modified system algorithms, rebalanced inventory and improved customer order fill rates by over 10% and reduced working capital by $10M.

 

CARLISLE & COMPANY: Manager Consultant

​1997 - 2002

 

Managed consulting projects for major transportation companies including automotive, railroads, airlines, and off-road construction and agricultural machines.  Customer project outcomes improved supply chains, redesigned processes, designed product strategy & launch campaigns, and defined industry best practices across multiple functions.
